>Intimate Backyard Wedding
>Congrats Erika and Nikole and their recent wedding ceremony held in a beautiful backyard in Corona, Ca. I love backyard weddings! As I have blogged about before, backyard weddings are very intimate and are all about the couple! I really felt the love on this wedding, they adore each other. We drove around and pulled off of the side of the road to shoot the romantics, very fun and rustic. In today’s economy especially, backyard weddings are becoming more popular. I have seen some awesome, classy, fun, intimate, detailed, backyard weddings. Saving money on the venue can result in affording a better photographer and better vendors all away around. You are not limited on food and can pick your own caterer as well as have no time constraints with the church or wedding venue. When there are no time constraints you can spend more time shooting great romantics and go to multiple locations, even though we were behind on the scheduled timeline for this wedding, we still had plenty of extra time and we never felt rushed. More money can be spent on the details, and by hiring a full service wedding coordinator that also does design and florals can actually save you money. Regardless of the legalities around same sex weddings, Erika and Nikole did not let that stop them, they still went ahead with full wedding plans to celebrate their love. Beautiful Bride!

Congrats Monique & Rob and their recent wedding in Riverside, Ca. The Mission Inn is a GORGEOUS venue!!! We shot the “Getting Ready’s,” first glance, romantics and bridal party there. I captured some of the details so you can see all of the wonderful romantic possibilities. It is a fun place to run around and set up shots. At 107 degrees it was definitely the hottest wedding of the year! The ceremony was across the street, but the cathedral at Mission Inn is breathtaking. If you want a awesome wedding venue with amazing images, then check out the Mission Inn.

I love this shot. The “First Glance” is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time, prior to the ceremony. It is always a great moment. Love how the bride is walking towards her groom.
>Family Photoshoot in Humboldt
>I LOVE this shoot! These girls are sooooo cute! They remind me of the modern “Little House on the Prairie” girls. I love the wholesomeness of this shoot. It is very rustic and natural, showcasing the expressions and connection between the members of the family. This is somewhat of a destination shoot, considering I let people know when and where I will be traveling and get to do shoots wherever I visit. So this shoot was shot in a front yard in Humboldt County, Northern California. This is what you can expect from most park or nature shoots.
